Ashantigold attacker Yaw Annor bags brace, takes his tally to 19, one goal away from catching Kotoko’s Etouga

Ghana Premier League side Obuasi Ashantigold SC attacker Yaw Annor bagged brace against Accra Lions FC to in the Ghana Premier League week 31 clash.

The former Bechem United FC star player scored all the two goals in his team’s 2-2 stalemate at the Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi on Sunday afternoon.

He opened the scoring in the first half after 27 mintues to the Yellow and Blacks a deserving 1-0 lead with a beautiful strike.

After the away team equalized in the second half after the hour mark to make it 1-1, Annor struck again to restore his team’s lead.

Just a minute away from the full time whistle, the In-form attacker grabbed his second on the afternoon and thought he had won his team all three points but the home struck late to make the final score 2-2.

With his brace today, the AshantiGold hitman is just a goal away from catching up with Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC striker Franck Thierry Mbella Etouga who scored against Medeama today.

Annor has 19 goals this season in the the Ghana Premier League just one behind Cameroonian import, Franck Thierry Mbella Etouga who’s on 20 goals.

The two players will come face-to-face in the Ghana Premier League week 29 outstanding clash this Thursday at the Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi.
