Obuasi Ashantigold SC Midfield-jewel McCarthy Appiah has stepped up his recovery to full fitness after suffering a long term injury.
The former Asokwa Deportivo SC maestro sustained a long term injury which kept him out of the game for a very long time.
He was the best midfielder in the Ghana Premier League before his injury and was so dearly missed by his club as his absence affected the club’s output in matches.
Before his unfortunate injury lay-off, the combative and creative midfielder had three goals and three assists to his credit.

McCarthy was severely injured in his team’s 2-5 loss to Legon Cities FC at the Accra Sports Stadium and never returned to play a game again in the league.
The 25-year-old has hit the gym to continue with his recovery to full fitness ahead of the 2021-22 Ghana Premier League season.
