Aston Villa Academy boss Mark Harrison has lauded the qualities of Ghanaian teenager Kellyman Papa Kwasi Omari.
The 16-year-old offensive midfielder appended his signature to a professional contract with Villa on Tuesday and his manager has praised his expertise.
“We are delighted to see Omari sign his first professional contract. ” Harrison stressed.
“We have been very pleased with his development so far which has seen him, at the age of 16, make his debut in the EFL Trophy. ”
“He has a lot of potential as an attacking midfielder and we look forward to seeing him fulfill it.”
Omari has already played for the Northern Irish U19 team but is still eligible to feature for Ghana.
