Former West African Football Academy (WAFA) SC graduate Augustine Boakye was in a good form for Wolfsberger AC in the Austrian Típico Bundesliga on Saturday.
Boakye lasted 75 minutes of the match for his team as they beat LASK Linz 2-1 at home to go fifth on the league table after 13 points from nine matches.
He provided the assist for the opening goal of the match as he set up Mohamed Bamba to put the hosts 1-0 up inside 25 minutes.
Florian Rieder scored the second for Wolfsberger five minutes away from the halftime whistle to make it 2-0.
Thomas Goiginger found the back of the net for the visitors to make the final score 2-1.
The 22-year-old Ghanaian forward has two goals and two assists in seven matches this season.
