Ghanaian forward Abdul Aziz Yakubu joins Wuhan Three Towns in China

Portuguese Primeira Liga side Rio Ave have loaned Ghanaian striker Aziz Yakubu to Chinese outfit Wuhan Three Towns for 1 Million Dollars.

Yakubu appended his signature to the one-year deal on March 6 and he has an option for a permanent contract if he excels.

The talented attacker nearly joined Al Ahly of Egypt in January this year for 2.5 Million Dollars but he failed medicals and the move collapsed.

He has netted nine goals and provided three assists in 18 games in all competitions this season.

Yakubu also previously played for Vizela and Vitoria Guimatars.
