The PAOK FC defender, has expressed his displeasure with the Black Stars result in their Tuesday’s pre-World Cup friendly against Wales.
Ghana were denied victory at the Cardiff City Stadium after Lewis Koumas headed home a stoppage-time equaliser for Wales. Caleb Yirenkyi had given the Black Stars a 66th-minute lead with his first senior international goal.
And the ace left-back who replaced Gideon Mensah in the second half has been left worried after his abysmal defending led the Wales late equaliser.
“Gutted we could not get the win last night, but this a marathon not a sprint. We will get there. This group will give everything for this precious shirt.God bless our homeland Ghana”. He posted on social media.
Meanwhile, the Black Stars team has jetted off to USA, on Wednesday morning to continue preparations for the World Cup.
Ghana now turn attention to the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Canada, Mexico and the United States. The Black Stars have been drawn in Group L alongside Panama, England and Croatia, and open their campaign against Panama on June 17.
