Ghanaian-born Dutch player, Jeremie Frimpong is out of the remaining of the season 2021-22 Germany Bundesliga season with a horrible injury.
The 21-year-old Dutch player born of Ghanaian parent has been one of the most important players for the Bundesliga for Bayer 04 Leverkusen.
Frimpong was injured in the weekend’s game against FC Köln when his team suffered a painful defeat at home as the race to finish in the Champions League spots intensify.
He was stretched off in the game after picking up an injury and the club has confirmed he will be out until the end of the current season.
Frimpong earned his first senior call-up by the Oranje senior national of Netherlands but will not be available during the international break with injury.
His Oranje debut for that matter would be on hold until he recovers from his injury around June /July when the Dutch team will be preparing for the next FIFA World Cup tournament in Qatar later this year.
