Spanish La Liga side Barcelona are the latest team to register interest in Black Stars midfielder Mohammed Kudus ahead of the January transfer window.
The attacking midfielder has risen to stardom following his impressive performances with Ajax this season while the 2022 FIFA World Cup has also been a plus for him.
The 22-year-old has been involved in three goals so far for the Black Stars at the ongoing World Cup, sparking interest from several clubs so far.
Liverpool, Borussia Dortmund, Real Madrid and Barcelona have been linked with a move for the Ajax midfielder who was named the Player of the Match in Ghana’s win over South Korea.
Barcelona’s director Jordi Cruyff told RAC 1, “We’ve been tracking Mohammed Kudus for more than one year. We can’t say now that Barça want Kudus… but he’s attracting interest.”
”He’s scoring goals and in Holland, they discuss a lot about his position, so yes – I know him well”.
