Right-back Jeremie Frimpong has dropped a hint that he will wear Bayer Leverkusen shirt again next season.
The 21-year old Dutch defender of Ghanaian descent is currently rated as one of the best right-best right-backs in the German Bundesliga.
Frimpong is reported to be on the radar of giants Bayern Munch and Real Madrid in the summer transfer Window.
However, when asked by Sport Bild what he wants to achieve with Bayer in the 2022/23 season, the pacy defender replied: “Champions League. And hopefully in the cup final.”
Frimpong is on the list of some of Europe’s top clubs. According to reports, Borussia Dortmund, FC Bayern and FC Barcelona are also interested in the fast defender.
Frimpong, who joined Leverkusen from Celtic Glasgow in January 2021 for eleven million euros, is contractually bound to Bayer until 2025.
