Asamoah Gyan has advised Tariq Lamptey, Inaki Williams and others to be committed to the Black Stars beyond World Cup.
In recent months, six players have announced their allegiance to the Black Stars. The players include Inaki Williams, Tariq Lamptey and more.
Gyan, when asked about these players stated that they should be committed to the team beyond the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
“My question to those guys [Inaki, Tariq Lamptey and others] is what next? It shouldn’t be just for world cup and then when they are called afterward, they reject the callup. You have to be fully committed to the national team,” Gyan told Oyerepa FM.
That is what I can say but the guys coming in like Tariq Lamptey and the others are very good players. They can bring something to the national team,” he added.
Gyan has scored 51 goals for the Black Stars so far.
