Bernard Mensah: “Atsu’s death and the next process were very difficult for me”

Ghanaian international Bernard Mensah, has opened up on the difficulties he went through after the death of his country man Christian Atsu.

According the Kayserispor star, “Atsu’s death and the next process were very difficult for me. I tried to do everything I could. He was a special person to me. All the goals I scored and will score are for him, I will never forget him.”

Mensah was speaking after he scored in his side’s Monday night 3-2 win against Umraniyespor in the Turkish top tier league.

In the 53rd minute mark of the game, Mensah put Kayserispor ahead with his fifth goal of the season in 21 matches, in addition to his two assists in the campaign.
