Ghanaian international, Bernard Tekpetey scored in Bulgaria First Professional League on Sundays evening as giant Ludogorets Razgrad thumped Botev Plovdiv at home to stretch their lead at the top of the league table.
Tekpetey did not only score but provided assist in his team’s emphatic 3-0 win over the Yellow and Blacks outfit.
He played 62 mintues of the encounter before he was substituted and replaced by Kiril Despodov in the second and at a time they were in a comfortable lead.
The former Schalke 04 man opened the scoring in the first half after just 10 mintues with a cool finish to give the Green and Whites Eagles a deserving lead and to settle the nerves of the home team and fans alike.
Twelve minutes into the second half, he provided assist for his side’s third goal that put the game to bed with over 30 minutes of action to play.
The 24-year-old Ghanaian had five goals and three assists in 17 matches this season in the Bulgarian First Professional League for 10 consecutive champions.
