Ghanaian winger Bernard Tekpetey delivered an outstanding performance for Ludogorets Razgrad, scoring twice in the first half of their Bulgarian First Professional League encounter against Arda to strengthen his growing reputation as one of the club’s attacking threats.
The Ghanaian forward was in fine form, finding the back of the net twice before the break and giving Ludogorets a major attacking boost in the league fixture. His double underlined his goalscoring ability and highlighted his importance to the Bulgarian champions’ attacking plans.
Tekpetey’s latest performance adds to an encouraging individual campaign, with the winger now having four goals and three assists in the league this season. He has also scored once in the UEFA Conference League qualifying rounds, taking his tally across the league and European qualifying campaign to five goals.
The former Schalke 04 attacker has demonstrated his ability to contribute in different ways, combining his finishing skills with the creativity required to set up teammates. His three league assists show that his influence extends beyond scoring, making him a valuable option in the final third.
His two-goal performance against Arda is another positive development for Ludogorets, who rely on attacking players capable of producing decisive moments in competitive matches. Tekpetey’s ability to score twice in the opening half also illustrates how quickly he can influence a contest when presented with opportunities.
As a winger, the Ghanaian brings pace, movement and attacking intent to Ludogorets’ forward line. His role requires him to stretch opposing defences, create space for teammates and take advantage of opportunities in dangerous areas. His latest display demonstrated the kind of attacking productivity that can make a difference over the course of a league campaign.
Tekpetey’s current statistics also point to his growing contribution to the team’s attacking output. Four league goals and three assists represent seven direct goal contributions in the domestic competition, while his additional strike in the Conference League qualifiers further strengthens his overall record for the campaign.
Maintaining that level of performance will be important as Ludogorets continue to compete domestically and pursue their ambitions in European football. Consistency, fitness and the ability to deliver in key moments will remain crucial as the season progresses.
For Ghanaian football supporters, Tekpetey’s latest display provides another reason to follow his progress abroad. His performances in Bulgaria continue to offer evidence of his attacking qualities, particularly his ability to combine goalscoring with creative contributions.
With a first-half brace against Arda, four league goals, three assists and an additional strike in the Conference League qualifiers, Bernard Tekpetey is building an encouraging record this season. The Ghanaian winger will now aim to maintain his momentum and continue making a significant contribution to Ludogorets’ campaign.
