Owner of Women’s Premier League side Berry Ladies FC, Gifty Oware has said that the Black Queens are currently Ghana’s best national team.
The Black Queens under coach Nora Hauptle have been delivering 5-star performance since the beginning of the year.
The Queen recently qualified to the next stage of the African Women’s Cup of Nations after beating Rwanda in a two-legged tie.
With many singing praises to the team, Gifty Oware said Chris Hughton and his team cannot be currently compared to the Queens.
“It is better that we look at the conversation from the perspective of much we are winning and not look at whose tenure or what tenure.“It is encouraging that the Black Queens are doing better.”She added.
“And I think that, at the point, I can even proudly say maybe, Ghana’s Black Queens are doing better than the Black Stars,” she told Accra-based Citi FM.
The Black Queens are yet to drop a point in 7 games under coach Nora Hauptle.
