Five players have been shortlisted for the
NASCO player of the month for their outstanding performances in October.
Isaac Mintah of Aduana FC, Nurudeen Yussif Mohammed of Asante Kotoko, and Michael Ampadu of Hearts of Oak have been nominated alongside Abdul Manaf Umar of Nsoatreman FC and Appiah MacCarthy of Bibiani Goldstars.
Isaac Mintah played 311 minutes in four games, he scored 4 goals including a brace in the Bono derby. He won one MVP.
Asante Kotoko’s left-back Nurudeen Mohamed played 340 minutes in 4 games and won one MVP.
Micheal Ampadu, Hearts of Oak’s right back enjoyed 270 minutes in 3 matches, he won 2 MVPs.
Nsoatreman’s midfielder, Abdul Manaf Umar played in 3 matches and enjoyed 243 minutes. He scored 3 goals and won one MVP.
Appiah McCarthy of Bibiani Gold Stars enjoyed 250 minutes in 4 matches and scored 3 goals. He won no MVP.
The winner will receive a 43-inches NASCO TV set from Electroland Ghana Limited.
Three coaches were also shortlisted for the Coach of the Year award. Aduana’s Yaw Acheampong won three games and lost one in four games. Augustine Evans Adotey, Medeama SC’s coach also won three games and lost one. Nsoatreman’s coach, Maxwell Konadu won three and drew one.
