Aduana Stars head coach, Samuel Paa Kwesi Fabin has finally given up on Betpawa Premier league title race after losing to Dreams FC in week 32 of the Ghana Premier League on Saturday, May 27, 2023.
The Ogya Lads were beaten 0:1 at home by Dreams FC at the Nana Agyemang Badu II Park in Dormaa.
After being op top of the Standings for months, Samuel Fabin and his charges, loss some vital games to lose their top spot, denting their title ambition.
The loss, thus, has erased Aduana Stars dream of winning the ultimate with four points away from league leaders Medeama Sporting Club.
Speaking after the game, the gaffer mentioned that Aduana Stars ambition of winning the league title is over with two games to spare in the 2022/23 season.
“We are out but it’s an obligation to play the next two matches, so we will play and see what happens”, Paa Kwesi Fabin told StarTimes.
Aduana Stars are currently second on the league standings with 52 points, four points away from leaders Medeama SC.
Aduana Stars will travel to Nsoatre to play Nsoatreman FC on Sunday, June 4, 2023 before playing Bechem United in the last game at home.
