Bibiani GoldStars FC has expressed a strong interest in acquiring the services of Benjamin Yorke, the Hearts of Oak forward who is currently considered surplus to the club’s requirements.
According to reports from Sportsworldghana, Yorke’s departure from Hearts of Oak could materialize during the ongoing transfer window, despite his status as one of the club’s top scorers in the previous season.
Discussions are underway between Gold Stars and the player’s representatives as they seek to secure his participation for the upcoming season. Gold Stars are aiming to secure Yorke’s services on a free transfer, possibly through a termination of his contract with Hearts of Oak. However, they are open to the option of a loan agreement should Hearts opt against contract termination.
Benjamin Yorke was highly anticipated to address Hearts of Oak’s attacking challenges following his impressive stint at FC Samartex in the division one league.
He joined Hearts of Oak in August 2021, signing a five-year deal after his time with FC Samartex, with the intention of bolstering the club’s offensive capabilities with his exceptional attributes.
