Chief Executive Officer of Bibiani GoldStars, Akwasi Adu, has expressed confidence in the club’s readiness to compete in the CAF Champions League next season.
The Miners continued their impressive run in the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League with a narrow 1-0 victory over Medeama SC on Matchday 28, a result that keeps them at the top of the league table with 53 points and six matches left to play.
Speaking to Asempa FM, Adu affirmed the club’s ambition and preparations to represent Ghana on the continental stage.
“We are well prepared and well resourced to compete in the CAF Champions League next season,” he stated.
He added that although the team remains focused on securing the league title, their broader aim is to make an impact in African football.
“We will fight till the end of the season to ensure we finish on a high. The season is not over yet, but our focus is to play in Africa, and we are ready for that.”
GoldStars’ remaining fixtures include an away clash against Vision FC on Matchday 29, followed by a meeting with Karela United. They are expected to receive a walkover against Nsoatreman FC and will then host Asante Kotoko.
Their final two games will see them visit Berekum Chelsea before wrapping up the campaign with a home fixture against Accra Lions.
