Black Stars have received a major boost ahead of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers against rivals Nigeria next month with the return of Star player Mohammed Kudus.
The former FC Nordsjaelland man who has not made a senior appearance for his club since November 2021 was in action on Wednesday evening in the KNVB cup game.
The 21-year-old Ghanaian playmaker came on after 78 minutes to replace Davy Klaassen in their emphatic 5-0 win over Vitesse Arnhem to reach the semi-final of the Dutch Cup.
Kudus showed his ability and what the Ajax fans have been missing with a dazzling display in the last 12 minutes of the match.
He is set to play for Ghana next month when they take on the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the playoffs for Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup Spot in Cape Coast and Abuja respectively.
Kudus, due to injury worries has played only five games in the Dutch Eredivisie and has a goal to his name.
