Black Princesses coach Charles Sampson says his team is determined to raise their performance when they face Tunisia in the second leg of the U20 Women’s World Cup qualifier in Accra.
Ghana holds a 2-0 advantage from the first leg in Tunis, but Sampson believes the team can do even better.
“We want to upgrade our performance and do better. We got the win we wanted but couldn’t play the way we wanted. Some players were stressed and inexperienced,” he told Sporty FM.
He noted that playing away affected the young side, but expects a calmer and more expressive game at home.
The return leg takes place on Sunday, September 28, at the Accra Sports Stadium, where the Black Princesses will look to seal their qualification.
