Head coach of the Black Queens Kim Lars Björkgren has described his tenure so far as an “amazing” and “great experience,” despite its challenges, expressing immense pride in the team’s progress and looking ahead to a successful 2026.
Reflecting on a busy period, coach Kim highlighted the team’s growth, culminating in a WAFCON semi-final appearance and a third-place finish. He emphasized the importance of squad rotation and building a cohesive unit through hard work and meetings.
“Overall, they have been a great experience, and I’m so happy that I took the opportunity,” he stated. Looking forward, his focus is on continued improvement. “I wish that 2026 is going to be an even more successful year,” he said, extending Merry Christmas and Happy New Year wishes to the Ghanaian people.
