Linda Eshun, the captain of Hasaacas Ladies, has made a move to join Íþróttafélag Reykjavíkur (IR Football Club), a top-flight division team in Iceland.
This is not her first time playing in Iceland, as she had previously represented Grindavik FC. Now, she is set to embark on her second stint in the country.
Since 2014, Linda Eshun has been a part of Ghana’s women’s national football team, having participated in the African Women’s Championship during that year.
With prior playing experience in the United States at Robert Morris College, the 27-year-old brings a wealth of experience to her new team in Iceland.
Recently, she took part in the Turkish Cup event with the Black Queens team, where Ghana finished as the runners-up.
