Black Queens forward Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah delivered a stunning performance on Sunday, scoring twice to guide Nottingham Forest Women to a 3-1 victory over Sunderland Women in Women’s Super League 2.
The 30-year-old played the full 90 minutes of the Round 10 fixture at City Ground, making her mark early. Boye-Hlorkah opened the scoring in the 19th minute, finishing a precise setup from defender Chloe Mustaki.
Nottingham Forest doubled their advantage in the 31st minute through Aimee Claypole, heading into halftime with a comfortable lead.
Sunderland staged a comeback in the 69th minute, with Emily Scarr pulling one back to make it 2-1. However, Boye-Hlorkah restored Forest’s two-goal cushion in the 87th minute, ensuring a 3-1 triumph for the hosts.
With her brace, Boye-Hlorkah has now scored four goals in 10 appearances this season, continuing her impressive form for both club and country.
