Nora Hauptle, the coach of the Black Queens, traveled to France to watch Ghanaian players in the French D1 league. She attended the match between FC Girondins de Bordeaux and FC Fleury, where Evelyn Badu and Ghanaian talent Abigail Kim played.
During the game, Badu scored a goal and assisted her team, while Kim showed her skills playing on the wings for Bordeaux.
After the match, Hauptle talked with both players. She discussed the possibility of inviting Kim to join the Black Queens team.
Hauptle, who led Ghana to the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, wants to gather the best players for the upcoming tournament in Morocco.
She has already visited Saudi Arabia, Italy, and now France as part of her job to monitor players.
Unfortunately, the Black Queens didn’t qualify for the Olympic Games in Paris after losing to Zambia in the qualifiers.
