Ghana’s Black Satellites held their first training session in Niamey on Friday morning ahead of the 2022 West African Football Union (WAFU) zone B tournament.
Ghana are the defending champions of the tournament after winning the last edition in 2021 in Benin.
The Black Satellites are in the same group as Niger and rivals Nigeria as they kick-start their campaign on May 8.
The Ghana U20 team arrived in Niger on Thursday afternoon ahead of the tournament and are determined to retain the trophy they won last year.
