Ghana U-20 team, Black Satellites has lined up three friendly matches to wrap up their preparations for the upcoming WAFU Zone B tournament, the Ghana Football Association announced.
Black Satellites will play against Tema Youth, Euro Africa and Kpando Heart of Lions ahead of next month’s tournament, which will serve also as qualification for the 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.
The game against Tema Youth FC is scheduled for Tuesday, April 26 at the Accra sports stadium.
After that game, the current Africa U20 champions will face Euro Africa in the second match on Thursday, April 28.
The Ghana Black Satellites will wrap up their preparations with another match against Heart of Lions on May 3, 2022.
Ghana are in Group B along with rivals Golden Eaglets of Nigeria, neighbors, the Young Stallions of Burkina Faso of the tournament which starts on May 7 and ends on May 20,
The finalists from this tournament will represent the WAFU Zone B at the 2023 CAF U-20 Cup of Nations slated for February 18 to March 12.
