The Black Starlets experienced a setback in their first match of the UEFA U16 International Youth Tournament, losing 3-1 to Russia in a tough game.

Despite playing well and understanding their strategy, the Ghanaian team couldn’t match Russia’s effective scoring.

Led by former Ghanaian player Laryea Kingston, the team has worked hard in training and preparation for this tournament. They’re determined to perform well and lay the foundation for success in the upcoming WAFU U-17 tournament, which will be held in Ghana.

Remembering their previous championship win in Serbia, Laryea and his team are motivated to achieve similar success on the international stage, despite the initial setback. They’re confident in their abilities and eager to bounce back from the defeat.

With matches against Serbia and Kazakhstan still to come in the group stage, Ghana is optimistic about turning things around and demonstrating their potential to the world.
