Ghana’s Black Stars have safely arrived in Garoua ahead of last group C ‘Do or Die’ game against Comoros in the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations tournament.
The four-time AFCON champions departed Yaounde this morning and have already touched down in Garoua ahead of must win match on Tuesday evening.
Ghana have their destiny in their hands and would have to beat Comoros to have a chance of making it into the round of 16 stage of the competition.
Ghana loss their first game of the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations tournament against Morocco which left many of the fans agitated over the Stars poor performance.
Last Friday, the Stars failed to beat the Panthers of Gabon despite taking an early lead through a fantastic Andre Ayew goal.
The Black Stars are third on the table after a defeat and a draw against Morocco and Gabon and must win their last game or face the exit door of the 33rd CAF Africa Cup of Nations tournament.
The last time Ghana exited the competition at the group stage was in 2006 in Egypt after defeats to Nigeria and Zimbabwe respectively.
Ghana have since then never failed to qualify from their group in the subsequent 7 tournament reaching at least the semi-final with the only exception being a round 16 exit in the last edition in Egypt in 2019 when Tunisia won on penalties to eliminate the stars.
Ghana will lock horns with Comoros on Tuesday evening at 7pm in Garoua.
