Legendary Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan, has taken to social media to react to the exclusion of some top players from Ghana’s squad for the World Cup.

Multiple reports in Ghana suggest that Majeed Ashimeru, Felix Afena-Gyan and Joseph Painstil hand Jeffery Schlupp have all been dropped Ghana coach Otto Addo will name his final 26-man squad before the World Cup in Qatar in the next few days.

Our outfit understands that Joseph Painstil, Majeed Ashimeru, Felix Afena-Gyan and Jeffery Schlupp, have all been dropped by coach Otto Addo ahead of the announcement of his final squad.

Painstil has been one of Ghana’s best players in Europe and news of his omission has left many fans of the Black Stars shocked.

Ashimeru who in the past made the news for his absence after Gyan questioned his omission has once again not been included in the squad while Afena-Gyan misses the team for the first time since his debut against Nigeria in March.

Gyan who has not recently been pleased with the omission of certain top players including Ashimeru in the Black Stars team, took to Twitter to cryptically post image which suggests that he is really following the BLack Stars squad announcement.
