As part of his duties to the Black Stars team, assistant coach George Boateng paid a visit to the US to scout Ghanaian duo Latif Blessing and Kwadwo Opoku.
Latif Blessing currently plays for Los Angeles FC, where he has made 30 appearances in 2022, recording one assist. Kwadwo Opoku also plays for the same club, scoring 7 goals in 34 matches this year.
Boateng watched both players closely with the 2022 World Cup approaching.
