Black Stars Head Coach Otto Addo recently met with Watford midfielder Pierre Dwomoh in London, sparking discussions about the young talent’s international future.
Dwomoh, who has represented Belgium at various youth levels since U15, has not yet made an appearance for the senior team.
At 20 years old, Dwomoh remains eligible to play for Ghana through his parents, leaving the door open for a potential switch to the Black Stars in the future.
Pierre Dwomoh made his professional debut with Genk in a 2-0 win over Kortrijk. In August 2021, he signed a five-year contract with Antwerp.
Dwomoh was loaned to Portuguese club Braga in September 2022 but was recalled in December after failing to make an appearance.
In January 2023, he renewed his contract with Antwerp and joined Oostende on loan with an option to buy.
Later that year, he moved to RWD Molenbeek on loan with a buy option. On 26 August 2024, Dwomoh permanently signed with EFL Championship club Watford on a long-term deal.
