Ghana’s Black Stars new substantive head coach Otto Addo has surprisingly snubbed in-form left-back Abdul Baba Rahman for his first two games.
The former Borussia Dortmund talent and development coach has committed the former Chelsea star from his team as they face Nigeria and Uganda in friendlies later this month.
Rahman has been in a thrilling and fantastic form in the Greek Super League for PAOK Thessaloniki FC with scintillating and mouth-watering performances week-in-week-out at his new home.
Despite playing at the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament under the tutelage of Otto Addo, the defender has this time around been axed from the team by the gaffer after he missed the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Ivory Coast.
Rahman was consistent for Ghana at the international level between late 2015 till he picked a horrible injury on International duty with Ghana which hampered his progress at club level for more than a year.
