Ghanaian international Alexander Djiku has notched his inaugural goal for Turkish Super Lig outfit Fenerbahçe SK.
The highly regarded center-back made his move to the Turkish club during the summer transfer window following his departure from France, where he had played for Ligue 1 side Racing Strasbourg.

In today’s match against Istanbul Başakşehir FK, the defender started in the heart of his team’s defense. He delivered a superb performance, scoring in the 5th minute to give Fenerbahçe SK the early lead.
An own goal from Leonardo Duarte and a brace from Sebastian Szymanski ensured Fenerbahçe SK emerged 4-0 winners over Başakşehir FK after the thrilling encounter.
After six games, Fenerbahce lead the league log with 18 points, two points ahead second-placed Galatasaray.
