Black Stars defender Gideon Mensah has expressed his eagerness to face 2023 as the year 2022 eventually comes to an end.
The 23-year-old was a part of Ghana’s squad for the 2022 World Cup where he put up a masterclass in the victory over South Korea but the team were knocked out of the group stages.
With his club Auxerre currently in the relegation zone, Mensah aims to help them stay in Ligue 1 in 2023.
“Grateful to God for the year 2022 and for what He’s about doing in the year 2023,” he stated on his Twitter Account.
