Kingsley Schindler, the latest addition to Ghana’s national football team, has voiced his support for the Ghana Premier League, calling on Ghanaians to watch and follow the games.
In a video posted on the Ghana Football Association’s social media platforms, Schindler, who currently plays for FC Koln in the German Bundesliga, praised the quality of the league and urged fans to show their support in order to rekindle their passion for the sport.
Schindler, who made his debut for the Black Stars during the AFCON 2023 doubleheader against Angola in March, has a personal connection to Kumasi, where his family is from.
“Hello guys, my name is Kingsley Kwadwo Schindler, I am playing for FC Koln in the German Bundesliga, I encourage everybody to watch the Ghana Premier League because my family is from Kumasi and every time we talk about soccer they tell me how great the league is, so I encourage you to watch, follow it and bring back the love” he said.
