George Boateng and Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, the assistant coaches of the Ghanaian national football team, have signed contracts that will see them remain with the team until December 2024.
The duo will be working with newly appointed head coach, Chris Hughton, and their primary objective is to help Ghana qualify for and win the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.
Boateng and Dramani previously served as assistants to former coach Otto Addo and were part of the team that participated in the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The trio’s first task together will be to guide the Black Stars to victory against Angola in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers on Thursday in Kumasi.
Ghana leads Group E with four points, and a win in both games against Angola would secure their place in the tournament.
