Ghana forward, Osman Bukari, is on the verge of a multi-million euro transfer to Krasnodar, with the club and the player’s agent confirming ongoing negotiations.
Osman Bukari, one of Red Star’s premier football talents, is reportedly on the cusp of a significant move, with Russia’s Krasnodar expressing concrete interest and tabling an €8 million offer for the speedy attacker.
The move comes in the wake of Kosta Nedeljković‘s departure, with Jovan Mijatović also preparing to leave, signaling a potential reshuffle of key players for Red Star this winter.
Currently showcasing his skills with the Ghanaian national team at the Africa Cup of Nations, Bukari‘s valuation could surge, especially if he replicates his impressive performance from the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Zvezdan Terzić, Red Star’s General Director, has hinted that the club anticipates an offer closer to €10 million for the fleet-footed player, suggesting that the initial €8 million bid might not suffice.
Bukari’s agent, George Wuster, confirmed the player’s openness to the move, stating, “At this moment, Osman Bukari can envision himself playing in Russia. Certainly, we have several offers for him that are under consideration. It’s up to Red Star and the player to make the final decision,” as reported by the Russian portal RIA Novosti.
Since joining Red Star in the summer of 2022 from Gent for €3 million, Bukari has made a significant impact, tallying 22 goals and 16 assists in 64 appearances. His stellar performance in the Champions League last autumn has undoubtedly raised his profile, making this transfer window a critical juncture for both the player and the club.
