Chris Hughton, the head coach of the Black Stars, emphasized Ghana’s global recognition in football, attributing it to the team’s remarkable history.
Speaking in an interview with BBC, Hughton expressed the widespread acknowledgment of Ghana’s football prowess wherever one travels.
While acknowledging the challenging results since taking charge, Hughton assured his dedication to improving the team’s performance.
He emphasized focusing on the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Madagascar and Comoros, taking it one game at a time.
”We have a wonderful history and wherever you travel and speak about the Black Stars, it’s a world-recognised country and football team. And of course, that comes down to the history of the Black Stars,” Chris Hughton said.
The coach aims to contribute positively to the rich history of the Black Stars.
