Ghana goalkeeper JoJo Wollacott, was in full 90 minutes of action for Swindon Town as they drew one all against Sarpong Wiredu’s Colchester United on Saturday afternoon in the English EFL League Two.
Swindon Town were dealt late heartbreak in their 1-1 draw with nine-man Colchester United at the JobServe Community Stadium.
Following a goalless and hard-fought first-half, Ellis Iandolo’s sublime cross allowed Harry McKirdy to open the scoring late on, before Colchester snatched a point at the death thanks to Emyr Huws’ late equaliser, despite the fact that the hosts had two players sent-off.
Wollacott, who was Ghana’s number goalkeeper at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations tournament, started and enjoyed the full duration of the game.
Meanwhile, his compatriot Brendan Sarpong Wiredu who also started for Colchester was subbed in the 68th minute after being replaced by Joseph Akinde.
