Black Stars players react to 2022 World Cup selection

Ghanaian players who have been selected for the 2022 World Cup have expressed their delight and are looking forward to the tournament in Qatar.

The 26-man squad includes former Spain international Inaki Williams who currently plays for Athletic Bilbao “It’s an honour to represent the country of my parents and most of my family. What better way to represent Athletic than playing in a World Cup and with the Black Stars.”

Ghana face Switzerland in a friendly in Abu Dhabi on Thursday, and begin their Group H campaign against Portugal on 24 November.
