The Black Stars are set to resume training on Monday, October 7, 2024, as they prepare for their crucial Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Sudan.
The 25-man squad called up for this month’s doubleheader has started arriving, with Mohammed Salisu and Elisha Owusu, who play in France, being the first to report to camp.
The team will gather at the Accra Sports Stadium later on Monday for their initial training session, which will be open to the media. Head coach Otto Addo will oversee additional sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday in preparation for the match scheduled for Thursday, October 10, 2024.
Ghana is in desperate need of a win to revive their Africa Cup of Nations qualification campaign, having secured only one point from their first two group matches. The Black Stars suffered a loss to Angola and a draw against Niger last month and will now face Sudan in back-to-back encounters.
