Former Ghanaian defender, Daniel Quaye said Hearts of Oak head coach, Martin Koopman cannot be blamed for the club’s struggles in the ongoing 2023/2024 Ghana Premier League season.
Daniel Quaye believes that it is time the playing body talks responsibilities for their sub standard performances because they have all the needed resources to succeed in the Ghana Premier League.
He urged the fans to challenged their energies to the players who are letting them down and not the coach because everything has been provided for them to deliver.
“The management have done everything to ensure the perform but it is not happening. I have heard some people blaming the coach but for me, it is not the coach. The players must be blamed for what is happening.”
“It is always not about the coach. These current players have no experience so they must work hard and get the needed results,” he told Accra-based Asempa FM.
Accra Hearts of Oak will travel to the Duns Park for their match day 7 game against Michael Osei’s Gold Stars FC.
