Belgian-born Ghanaian defender Godfred Boakye, has completed a loan move to Azerbaijan Premier League side Sabah FK from Birmingham City.
The deal will last until the end of the current season according the Birmingham City.
Boakye travels to Baku with Sabah currently leading the league ahead of favourites Quarabag FK, who have won the title in nine of the last 10 seasons.
After turning out eight times this season with Blues Under-21s, the promising defender becomes the 12th Blues Academy player currently gaining experience at the senior level on loan.
Boakye, 20, will be hoping to make huge impact for maximum playing time to help his career development.
