Hearts of Oak head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani has reassured supporters that the club’s board of directors remains satisfied with his work, despite recent inconsistencies in the team’s performance.
Appointed ahead of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season, the former Black Stars assistant has faced scrutiny as the Phobians struggled for form in the first half of the campaign. However, Hearts of Oak kicked off the second round with a morale-boosting 1-0 victory over relegation-threatened Hohoe United on Saturday.
Reflecting on his tenure, Didi Dramani emphasized that the board continues to back him fully.
“It’s the board that employed me, so if they were not happy with me, they would have informed me to quit or sacked me,” he told Asempa FM.
He added that consistent communication with the club hierarchy has been vital to his growth as a coach.
“For me, what is important is that we always meet regardless of a win or a loss. We need to evaluate what we are doing so we can share ideas. It should not always be one-sided. I always want to learn and improve on what I do as a coach,” Didi Dramani explained.
Looking ahead, Didi Dramani now aims to build on Saturday’s win as Hearts of Oak prepare to face Dreams FC in Sunday’s Matchday 19 clash at the University of Ghana Stadium.
