Former Black Stars player John Paintsil believes that Brazil were better prepared than Ghana when the two teams met in a friendly earlier this year.
Brazil comfortably beat Ghana 3-0 on the day, triggering pessimism among Ghanaian fans.
Paintsil believes that the Seleccao had a better game plan that day.
“Brazil came with a game plan by building up from the back slowly and when they reach the final third, they go with speed. They are a team that are well-prepared,” the former Fulham defender said on BBC Sport.
The ex-Black Stars full-back added, “When you look at the Ghana side, our build-up was very fast, we didn’t make the right passes and we didn’t know when to counter-attack.”
Ghana will play in the 2022 World Cup group H against Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea.
