Gideon Mensah penned a three-year deal with Ligue 1 side, AJ Auxerre, according to Joy Sports.
The defender, who played for Bordeaux during the 2021–2022 season, is now back in France.

Mensah signed with Red Bull Salzburg in 2017, and since then, he has spent time on loan at Sturm Graz, Zulte Waregem, Vitoria Sport Clube, and Bordeaux.
Reading, Preston North End, and Gaziantepspor all showed interest in signing the 24-year-old this summer. The player, however, decided to relocate to France.
In 23 games for Bordeaux last season, the Ghanaian recorded 2 assists.
The Ghanaian underwent his medical of Friday before penning a three-year deal with the club.
Mensah becomes the ninth summer signing for Auxerre, who make a return to the French top-flight for the first time in 10 years.
