Ghana’s Black Queens head coach Mercy Quarcoe Tagoe has been sacked as the head coach for the senior national female team, Sportsworldghana.com Understands.
Sportsworldghana.com understands that the coach has been relived off her duties as the head coach for the national team.
She failed to qualify Ghana to the 2022 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations tournament in Morocco against Nigeria.
Ghana will not be playing at next year’s FIFA Women’s World Cup as a result of not qualifying to the Africa Women’s Championship.
Ghana last qualified for the Women’s FIFA World Cup tournament in 2007 and has never won the Women’s AFCON.
