Breaking News: Ghana faces old foes Portugal, Uruguay and Korea in Group H at FIFA World Cup in Qatar

Ghana has been handed Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea in Group H for the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament later this year.

The Black Stars will be making their fourth appearance at the FIFA World Cup tournament.

In 2006 when Ghana made its first appearance in the FIFA Mundial, they beat countries like Czech Republic and United States of America after suffering opening day defeat to Italy to reach the last 16 where they loss to Brazil.

Ghana reached the quarter final of their second FIFA World Cup tournament in South Africa where they loss on penalties to Uruguay.

Ghana also made their third successive appearance at the tournament in Brazil 2014 but were eliminated at the group stage.

They will begin their 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament in Qatar against Portugal before playing Uruguay and South Korea respectively.
