Ajax striker Brian Brobbey, hailing from Dutch-Ghanaian heritage, has secured the Eredivisie’s Player of the Month award for December.
Brobbey’s outstanding contribution included four goals and an assist, propelling Ajax to an undefeated streak in the final weeks of 2023 with four top-flight victories.
Teammate Benjamin Tahirović also earned recognition, being named Talent of the Month.
Under interim manager John van ‘t Schip since October, Ajax has risen from the relegation zone to fifth place in the table.
The team is set to resume action after the winter break with a match against Go Ahead Eagles on January 14.
