Ghanaian international Inaki Williams and his brother Nico Williams have earned well-deserved spots in the La Liga Team of the Month for round 15, following their standout performances in Athletic Bilbao’s commanding 4-0 triumph over Rayo Vallecano.

The brothers played crucial roles in the victory, with Gorka Guruzeta initiating the scoring in the 23rd minute. Inaki Williams, who had previously scored in their away draw against Girona, extended the lead with a powerful shot in the 64th minute, credited to him despite a deflection off Alfonso Espino.

Younger brother Nico Williams joined the scoring spree, sealing the 4-0 victory with a brilliant strike just four minutes later. Inaki Williams has now accumulated eight goals and three assists in 15 La Liga matches this season, highlighting his substantial impact for Athletic Bilbao. Nico Williams, contributing three goals in 12 games, has also played a crucial role in Bilbao’s success.

The emphatic win propelled Athletic Bilbao to the 5th position on the league log with 28 points. Their upcoming challenges include a Copa del Rey clash against Cayon and an away fixture against Granada at the Los Cármenes on Sunday, December 10.

The La Liga Team of the Month recognizes the outstanding performances of the Williams brothers, solidifying their presence as key figures in Bilbao’s impressive campaign.
